The Alaskan Experience is as close as Sun Peaks He grew up in Alaska and was only 15 years old when he started training & racing sled dogs. Steve Mullens first dog team was comprised of pups that experienced mushers didnt want anymore, but through years of hard work and determination, he created teams of dogs to rival the best in the world. After moving to Canada, Steve and his wife Tannis formed Alaskan Husky Adventures, and have brought their sled dog tours to Sun Peaks Resort. Guests have the opportunity to mush their own team of Alaskan Huskies, or ride as a passenger on a guided sled on this exhilarating tour that races through the valley. Steve puts it best when he says, This is your lucky day you get to drive a world class dog team!
